![]() They clearly cared about each other, but Cassia struggled with that and tried to push away her feelings because she knew it would be a problem with her royal status. I also liked getting to see their relationship more. ![]() ![]() Kane was easy to like from the start though. To be honest, it was hard to really like Cassia for a while because of how she was treating Kane, but she was still a well-written character, and I came around to liking her in the end. I thought I would miss having Solara and Doran as main characters, but I ended up liking Kane and Cassia. ![]() And it did end up being another gripping story. This book was pretty different from the first, not quite the same fun, adventure-y feel, but it was still good! I got more into it as it went on and moved away from Cassia’s royal political issues and back to space adventures. ![]()
